Claire Campens was born in France in 1972.
After a first cycle at the Ecole d'Architecture de Grenoble, she gradueted from the Ecole d'Architecture of Paris La Villette as Architect DPLG.

She moved to Portugal in 1998 and created the Grafix circus / creative studio in Lisbon - Architecture, Digital Imaging & Graphic design - with Emmanuel Garcia, architect DPLG.
She was a founding member of the association ZAAT - a collective of artistic and sound occupation.
From 2001 until 2008, she worked with fssmgn arquitectos Lda - Margarida Gracio Nunes and Fernando Sanchez Salvador arquitectos

In 2008, she established her own office in Cambodia.
Her work highlights her aspiration to preserve the Cambodian architectural heritage by using local resources and cambodians skills.
